- The phone rings and Mama bear answers it.Berry hears his name while she is talking on the phone and cannot stop thinking about lying to his parents.
- Mama and Papa agree and Berry begins to think about what he wants to say.
- The next day Berry and his family are playing cards on the kitchen table.
- Mama bear does not say anything and Berry is relieved, but he still feels uneasy.The game continues but Berry is still not sure if Mama and Papa Bear know his true grades.
- Mama bear comes back into the room and Berry is scared that she knows the truth.
- When the game finishes Berry is still thinking about how he lied to his parents.
- Berry feels bad about lying and he decides that he has to tell his parents the truth.Berry asks to talk to Mama and Papa while his siblings go play outside.
- He nervously moves in his seat while he looks down at the floor.Berry is scared to tell them the truth but he knows he needs to.
- Berry takes a deep breath, looks up and tells Mama and Papa bear that he got all C’s in Animal Academy.
- He says that he chose to lie because he wanted to be celebrated.Berry tells them he feels badly about lying and is very sorry.
- Mama and Papa bear forgive Berry.They tell him that they are disappointed that he lied but are glad he decided to tell them the truth.
- They say that they are proud of Berry and that they know he is trying his best in school.They suggest Berry get the extra help at school he needs for his grades.Finally they ask Berry not to lie again, they are equally as proud of him as his siblings.
