Shanai has her 13th birthday with most of her friends, including her crush (Nathaniel) and she has an awesome surprise party she doesn't know about. It's so much that she doesn't know if she should be happy excited hypo nervous. 2 of her friends (Issy and Ciara) have a sleepover. 1 by 1 her friend leave and Nathaniel leaves last because he has a 'secret message' for her......
Storyboard Text
- The day that I turned 13! By Shanai Armitage
- 9pm at night, Shanai was fast asleep. She was well aware that in 4 hours and 10 minutes time she would be 13!
- 4 hours and 10 minutes later- 1:10am in the morning.
- I wonder what will happen today. I know it's 1:10am. I just do.
- 10am in the morning.
- {Yawn} I wonder what time it is. I'm officially a teenager! Squeeeeeee!!! I'm going to get breakfast.
- HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHANAI!
- Shanai went to the kitchen and saw her mum and dad were already up.
- Thanks mum and dad.
- What would you like for breakfast, Shanai?
- Pancakes please. Thanks mum.
- Okay.
- Silence. Ding-a-ling-da-ling-da
- That's the doorbell; I'll go and get it!
- Who could it be? Maybe nan.
- Seriously! Whoever it is please stop ringing the doorbell!
- Most of Shanai's friends had arrived: Nathaniel, Ella, Xanthia, Skye, Ciara, Issy, Samara, Isaac, Kade, Ethan and Laura.

- Good to see you all. Thankyou though.

- Scouts say a happy birthday from them.

- Lets head for the kitchen. Mum's making pancakes

- Every kid can breakfast now. The pancakes are ready!!!
- How long will breakfast be?
- By now everyone had eaten their pancakes- with mayple syrup on top- of course! Shanai was feeling...... Over the top of the moon!!!

- Shanai was sad because the time passed by so quickly. A couple of her guests had already left! There wasn't many people left: Nathaniel, Ciara, Issy and Samara. Issy and Ciara were here for a sleepover. That explained why they where there. But first...... Lets Dance!

- The next day
- 2 hours later.
- It was 5:50pm
- At 6pm.
- N, what time are you leaving?
- Present time!
