- on september 15th 1940 germany launched a bomb attack on lundon. the germans thought they were closing in on victory but the british royal air force took to the sky. the germans knew they couldn'tbeat the british so they surrendered.

- pearl harbor was attacked by the japanese on december 7th 1941. the japanese also destroyed lots of the U.S. planes so they couldn't take air and fight back. the U.S. declared war on japan and germany and italy joined to fight with japan. both U.S. and japan lost lots of people but with the head start japan didn't lose as much as U.S but through all that the U.S. won.

- japan bombed midway on june 4th 1942 for a sneak attack. the U.S. found out this by breaking Japan's code and responded by attacking japan from the air and lots of Japanese aircraft were destroyed. also U.S. had dive bombers which dove in and attacked high in the sky and lots of the japan aircraft were sunken. the U.S. won the war against japan on june 7th 1942.
