After coming back from the Land of the Dead, Odysseus is given prophetical advice for the rest of the events of his journey. Odysseus and his crew have to endure multiple different monsters, including the Sirens (spellbinding creatures), Scylla (a six-headed monster), Charybdis (a huge whirlpool), and the temptation of Helios' perfect cattle. After hearing this advice, Odysseus and his crew leave to face their trials.
I'm so tired; and how can I fight off both Scylla and Charybdis?!
Listen to me: now, you will have to go past the island of the spellbinding Sirens; try not to listen to their song. Next, stay close to Charbydis' (the whirlpool) crag-and watch out for Scylla, who will cause you casualties. Finally, steer clear of Helios' Island-and DON'T EAT THE CATTLE.!!
Lash him tighter!
Odysseus, when approaching the island of the Sirens, has to get tied to the mast of his ship so he could endure the Siren song. His crewmates have beeswax in their ears, acting as earplugs. Hearing all of the spellbinding songs and offers from the Sirens, Odysseus struggles to escape his bonds, but does not. Fortunately, the crew makes it past the Sirens, and Odysseus is untied.
We know all the pains you've endured!
LET ME GO! I WANT TO HEAR THE SIRENS!
Come closer, Odysseus!
Bring your crew!
Moor your ship so you can hear our song!
HELP US! PLEASE!!
Next, Odysseus and his crew approached horrible Scylla and frightening Charbydis; both freaked out all of the crewmates.-so Odysseus gave them a pep talk. Scylla was no where to be seen, and when the men's focus was on the swirling whirlpool, Scylla came out of nowhere. She snatched up six of Odysseus' best men, and the crew had to watch them get eaten alive. Sticking close to Charbydis, the crew made it past the horrible monsters.
WHAT IS THAT
This is so sad...
Don't worry! Stay close to the whirlpool-we can make it out alive!
