  • Slide: 1
  • The first day of Freshman year. Our first class of the day was Art 2! We were all so excited to move on from middle school art.
  • Yay! New art friends!
  • I'm so excited to really do some art
  • We should all be best friends
  • OMG, we are all in Art 2 together! This year is going to be amazing!!
  • Authors note: I only knew Izzy beforehand. I met Lee and Maddie on the first or second day

  • Hey guys! I'm your teacher. I'm actually evil and like to discriminate. Also, you have to copy art off of Pinterest and claim it as yours or you don't pass.
  • While this is shown to be humorous, it was not. Our teacher showed us very quickly that she believed that white Christians were superior to every race and religion. Only POC ever got in trouble in her class. She also had us copy art she found and liked. Very few of our pieces were original.

  • She screamed at my sister for wanting to be original and gave me a ZERO because my art was slightly different than the video!
  • That's awful!
  • Towards the end of the year, our teacher had constantly got onto Lee and Maddie when they had done nothing wrong. Even Skylar, Lee's sister wasn't safe from our teacher. She was yelling at her in class, scaring her so bad that her nails dug into her skin making her bleed.At this point, we all dreaded art class and stopped making at outside of class out of exhaustion.
