Mary Maloney waits patiently for her husband to arrive home from work, while she is waiting she prepares the house and gets ready for his return.
Patric comes home, she asks him lots of questions about his day. He doesn't respond to any of her questions, he simply pours himself a drink.
He says he wants a divorce and starts to get the papers, she doesn't say anything and pretends as if nothing has happened. She continues to get the dinner from the freezer.
She comes back with a big lamb leg and moves closer to him. She hits him over the head with the leg and he falls down to his death. He lies there laying on the floor dead. She then puts the lamb into the oven and starts cooking. She goes to the grocers to grow her alibi and get vegetables.
She gets back from the grocers and messes up her house to make it look like a crime. She then calls the police and they rush over to see what has happened. They ask her a lot of questions, suspecting that she is the one who did it.
They don't suspect her as much, and she offers them the lamb leg because she knows she won't be able to finish it. They eat the leg not knowing that it was the murder weapon they had been looking for. She sits in the other room laughing to herself.
