- GISELE'S SCENE
- In the ten years between 2009 and 2018, 1,121people were shot and killed in the united states in mass shootings, and 836more were shot and wounded
- The reach of each mass shooting stretches far beyond those that were killed and wounded, harming the well- being of survivors, their families, and entire communities.
- AMBER'S SCENE
- The difference is easy access to guns. Lawmakers should act to required background checks on all gun sales, support extreme risk law that provide a process to temporarily remove guns from people showing warning signs.Keep guns out of the hands of domestic abusers and restrict assault weapons.
- - The United States is not the only country with mental illness or domestic violence, but our gun homicide rate is 25 times higher than out peer countries
- IAN'S SCENE
- Mass shootings do not need to be an unavoidable element of American life. Just like all other tragic forms of guns violence, we can prevent them through common-sense policy solutions.
- Now what is Extreme law? Extreme law is sometimes referred to as “Red Flag” laws, allow loves ones or law enforcements to intervene by petitioning a court for an order to temporarily prevent someone in crisis from accessing guns.
- First to show up on the screen with the opening line. Have a bit of screen time then while speaking show clips of how it harms the community.
- Second to show up on the screen. show pictures of statistics and after have a bit of screen time. Then show how guns are sold at grocery stores making it easy for anyone to get.
- Last to show up on the screen. Have a bit of screen time as well but then show a picture of states who have the "Red Flag" law is enacted. Lastly, give sites to act on gun violence and put it to an end.
