- I heard the King ignored the Petition of Rights!

- You imcompatant fool. You are the true killer of Parliament here!
- Overthrow of Charles I
- He must die for what he has done!!!

- Charles I was very unpopular because he ignored the Petition of Right, which limited his power. (For good reasons of course)
- Restoration of the Stuart Monarchy
- A war that started in 1642 between the Roundheads The Parliamentary forces) and the Cavaliers or Royalists (The Kings supporters).
- Glorious Revolution
- King Charles I was overthrown and killed by his subjects. He went up against Parliament to determine who would recive the role of governing the colony. Which led to his death on January 30th, 1649.
- English Bill of Rights
- All people are subjected to the same laws. Even the King and Queen. This Bill shall limit the power of the monarch. Their decisions will be approved by the law.
- During this peroid the Stuart Monarchy was in the process of restoration. It was sucessfully restored by 1660.
- The Dutch Leader William of Orange was invited by English Nobals to invade england. They did this, because the kingdoms people wanted change. With almost no bloodshed, the kingdom was revolutionized.
- It helped create a better system, that was based on Rule of Law, and freely elected parliament.
