- A married couple are childless, but long for a child. They live in a house which overlooks a beautiful garden in which rampion grows in abundance.
- Climax

- However, the man and his wife are not allowed to go into the garden, which belongs to a wicked witch. One day, however, the wife is overcome by her desire for some rampion, so her husband sneaks into the garden and steals some. The husband goes to fetch some more, but is caught red-handed by the witch, who threatens to punish him.
- Falling Action
- In a deal they concluded on,the witch takes the child and raises it as her own.She claims to be her real mother and puts her in an isolated tower.
- Resolution
- Rapunzel lived her whole life in the tower.But out of nowhere,Rapunzel finds a prince and flees into the wilderness to live a new life
- In confusion she climbs the tower and does not see Rapunzel,realising she left.Frustated by this act,the witch casts a horrible curse on Rapunzel which cuts her hair but because of her special powers the curse doesnt work for long
- And then the couple live happily ever after
