Age can be estimated from the plates that have fused on individual bones, which are called the femur.
The growth plates are visible in younger people, but fused in older people. The fusion can show how old someone is, so the older the person is the less visible the growth plates are.Femur on top- Tibia bottom
And the structure of the skull close at different ages until the skull is all sealed. (Lambdoid, Squamous, Coronal, Sagittal close at 30-40 yrs) (For Coronal could be 24 but in Metopic 3-9 months)
Another way we can find the age is by teeth, in children's teeth they erupt in a particular pattern at around the same age.
