- I got land from the king and gave him protection in exchange
- Pope/Church
- I run the church and wealthy. I am also the top church leader in the kindom.
- Monarchs
- I am the most wealthy. I run the kindom and give Nobles land.
- A social system existing in medieval Europe in which people worked and fought for Nobles who gave them land/protection in return.
- Nobles
- I got my own land from the king and I gave him protection. I have peasants to do work for me.
- The Pope/Church were the center of the pyramid. The church was very powerful making the Pope powerful as well.
- Knights
- The Monarch was at the top of the pyramid. They gave land to Nobles in exchange for protection. The Monarch was also the most wealthy.
- Peasants
- Nobles had their own land and had Peasants do work, in exchange the peasants got housing and food. The Nobles were higher in the pyramid and rich.
- The knights protected Nobles in exchange for housing and food. They could be called into battle at any time. They were higher in the pyramid than Peasants.
- I protect the kindom and I am loyal to the king. I protect Monarchs and Nobles.
- The peasants were at the bottom of the pyramid and did work for Nobles. Some owned their own land and farmed it. But others were more like slaves and were loyal to their lord.
- I farm a Nobles land. I live a rough life and I'm not very wealthy
