- POV: Alfredo was so shocked when he saw Julia in the Plaza that he decided to approach her. Later, he learned that she had already been informed of his upcoming marriage and had extended her congratulations.
- Yes. Well, if you ask me to attend your wedding, I'll be there. Do you wish?
- Yes. By the way, I just wanted to say congrats on your approaching wedding.
- Then, I will.
- My sister asked me to stay until everyone was prepared to leave, which I did.
- I assumed you had already left.
- Oh so Judge will also leave?
- You knew? Will you come?
- Yes.
- POV: Alfredo and Esperanza argue about Calixta's forbidden relationship even though they aren't yet married, and Alfredo stands up for her. Esperanza then confronts him, letting him know that she is aware that Alfredo is involved in a love affair.
- Alfredo, why are you acting in that manner?
- But I believe I already understood the reason for your recent actions. Alfredo, I am neither deaf or blind, and I am aware that you are seeing someone else.
- *SPEECHLESS
- POV: He marries Esperanza, but because he still cherishes his affections for Julia, he secretly feels that a piece of him is missing.
- POV: Eight years later, his job compelled him to visit the village where Julia still resided alone. After seeing Julia, he then realized that his initial feelings for her were simply an infatuation. The fact that he had experienced something different when he saw Julia again led him to the realization that his love for Julia had been fading for more than a year.

- In the end, Alfredo uses a dead star to symbolize his love for Julia, much as the star whose light is the farthest lingering in the moving light. Alfredo comes to the realization that his feelings for Julia are nothing compared to his love for Esperanza, with whom he was willing to create the universe.
- What happens in the past, stays in the past. I should be focused on the present and be faithful to my dear wife.
