Many years ago, there was a volcano called Mama Volcano standing in an island. Mitsy and her brothers were then formed when Mama Volcano's fast-cooling lava solidified after being exposed from cool temperature on the surface of the island.
Mik the Obsidian, Mitsy's brother, explained to her that the two of them and the rest of their siblings are called "extrusive igneous rocks" because they were formed on the surface and have no visible crystals unlike their cousins, the "intrusive igneous rocks", who were formed below the surface and have visible crystals.
Millions of years have passed and Mitsy the Obsidian and the rest of her siblings were now old. They all lived a tough life as they had to deal with the frequent change in the weather.
One day, Mitsy's body started to crumble and most of her fragments were blown away by the wind to the nearby stream. There, she started a new phase in her rock life.
While staying underwater, Mitsy's fragments was mixed with other sediments such as sand, gravel, and other kinds of rock fragments. Through compaction and cementation, Mitsy became a new rock thus the new name of Mitsy the Limestone.
Over another million years, Mitsy found herself sitting om a land where it is really hot. Because of the heat, Mitsy experienced another phase in her rock life. She became more hard, more dense, non-foliated, and distorted. After reuniting with her brother Mik, he explained that heat is part of the process on becoming a Metamorphic Rock. At present, Mitsy is now known as 'Mitsy the Marble'.
