- 1. Where is Wilson?

- I have to go home with Wils.

- 3. The New Kid
- My name is Harvey Denis.
- There is no need for names, Joey.
- Yeh, I heard. What's with your legs? Did someone cut you off at the knees?
- In this scene Joey goes to brother Eubieus who was in the dining room. Joey is telling brother Eubieus that Joey has to go home with his brother Wilson. Brother Eubieus gets frustrated with Joey for continuing to ask him.
- 4. The Interrogation
- Shut up! You boys shut up and listen! Harold Tommy and Nicholas Herman have run away.
- This part of the book is when Joey is watching farther Maynard taking Wilson to the boat to be taking away. Joey is really sad seeing his brother leave without him.
- 5. The Plan
- this scene is about when Joey got introduced to the new kid. His name is Harvey Denis. Harvey was the new kid who was taking Wilson's old bed. Joey is being grumpy and calling Harvey names. Harvey is getting upset. Also, brother Eubieus tells Joey to stop the name calling.
- 6. The Execution
- In this scene brother Jerry is yelling at all the boys in the room. He is yelling at them because two boys tried to run and brother Jerry wanted to know where they were. Some boys were scared and shocked and others looked calm.
- This part of the book is when Joey is asking his brother Thomas to get food for him and Harvey because they are going to try and escape. Thomas' immediate reaction was no because he did not want his brother to leave, but Thomas eventually gave in. Also, Joey bribed Thomas with a dollar.
- We need you to get us some food for the trip. Please, Thomas. We got a dollar for you if you'll do it.
- No, Joey. Don't do it. You know what happened to Harry and Nick and the others, don't you?
- The final scene shows Joey and Harvey escaping. They escaped by stealing clothes and a tied up canoe. They used the food Thomas got them so they would not starve. At that moment the boys were nervous.
