- Greta: Okay mom, I feel so bad for him, but will he be like this forever?
- Mother: Dinner is ready, Grete go give. your brother his food
- Greta: *thinks to herself* I have to stay close to him and take care of him, but he is really not my brother and not the boy I grew up with anymore
- Gregor: (he hears everything and heard that Grete is coming upstairs so he hid under the bed to not scare her)
- Gregor: I don't like fresh food, I only like rotten, I don't know what to do anymore, I am hungry, tired, and lonely
- Grete: I brought you food Gregor, I hope you enjoy it
- Grete: *Thinks to herself* We need to get rid of Gregor, he is a disgusting bug, he is not himself anymore
- Mother and Father both: We agree, it's sad but we are not financially stable and we can't do anything about him
- Grete: Mom and dad we need to get rid of Gregor, he is a disgusting bug and I don't care about him anymore...
- Next day...Parents and Grete find Gregor dead, he was very skinny and tired, but they didn't care as much because they couldn't do anything else, they were annoyed and disgusted, they buried him
