- Ladies and gentlemen, we are here today to bring fairness to this unfair three states system
- we are going to call it "The Tennis Court Oath" to make the constitution better!!

- The Estates General was the representative assembly for the three states; First state (the clergy and priests), the second state (the royal family and nobles excluding the king), and finally the third state (which was mostly peasants)
- on june 20 1789, the members of the French Third Statement took the act of the Tennis Court Oath, vowing not to separate and to reassemble wherever require, until the Constitution of the kingdom is established, their goal was to make things fair between the three states
- On July 14 1789, a state prison on the east side of Paris, known as the Bastille, was attacked by an angry and aggressive mob, this prison represented royal authority in the centre of Paris.
