JUSTICE FOR KHALIL
Black Teen is killed by white policeman
Devante stole thousands of dollars from a major King Lord because he wanted to get out of drug dealing and being a gangster and he wanted to keep his family safe so he sent them away, and Starr's dad was helping him but when he went to visit his brother's grave some gangsters snatched him and was brought to Sevens Mom's boyfriend, the one who he stole from. Starr was at her boyfriends and they both went to retrieve him. They pull up at the house and inside they find Kenya trying to take care of Devante, who was beat up. They almost got caught but thanks to Sevens Momma they got away. On the way home they hear on the radio that they decided to not charge the officer who killed Khalil, they are angry so they went to protest but things get really violent and it is a bit much.
As they march through the street it begins to get violent and cops throw tear gas on them. Starr picks the first one up and throws it back to them. She speaks on top of a car, letting the world know that she was the witness and speaks about how Khalil lived and died over a hairbrush. When another can of teargas is thrown they are tearing up and they go to their dads store to get milk to pour over their faces and when they get there they barely make it out of the flames that King, Kenyas dad thew in the building. Every says that they witnessed it and he goes to jail. They clean the mess up and want to rebuild. Starr is ready to speak up for Khalil, but maybe in a different way.
