- Lennie scares a girl in Weed because he liked her dress and wanted to feel it and she thought he was assaulting her and that's the reason they were driven out of Weed.
- "Help!" "This big man is assaulting me!"
- Curley was upset and saw Lennie smiling so he thought Lennie was smiling at him and so he started swinging.
- "If you want me to, I'll put the old dog out of his misery right now and get it over with. Ain't nothing left for him."
- "Awright-take 'im."
- Carlson talking to Candy saying he can kill the old dog for him since it's going to die soon and there is no point of trying to keep it alive
- Carlson ending up shooting the old dog for Candy since it was on verge of death.
- George and Candy talking about how they can buy the farm he was planning to buy alone together and they can make a living like that
- "I got two hundred an' fifty bucks and fifty more in the bank that's three hundred"
- "If me an' Lennie work for a month an' don't spend nothing, we'll have a hundred bucks. I bet we could get it for that."
- "Come on, you big bastard. Get up on your feet. No one is going to laugh at me."
- Lennie didn't want to fight Curely but Lennie ended up defending himself by grabbing his fist and he ended up crushing it on accident.
- "It ain't your fault" "This punk sure had it coming to him. But-Jesus! He ain't hardly got no han' left."
