Storyboard Text
- Video starts with reenactment of big bang, black screen flashing into white, then fade into first scene.
- Sam, speaking about the beginning of the JWST. Greenscreen of space behind, shot straight on, using either a computer or a phone, using its microphone
- Transition from space background with Sam, to being either in a space station or still in space, with a house.
- James, as he speaks about the mirror as big as a house. Can certainly find a picture of a house in space for background. Recorded in the same manner as Sams, but maybe at an upwards angle to make them look bigger
- Transition from James to Humza. Plants are used as references, but other objects varying in size can be used. Plants are meant to show what we thought we knew about the universe versus how much there could be
- Recorded on phone, filmed straight on.
- Humza speaks about the discoveries that have been found with the telescope, and compare the plants in the manner of what we thought we know (flowers) versus what may be out there (as big as a tree)
- Transition to Shea walking along the street. Scene will be filmed on phone, as we follow Shea, and then come around to see him wearing sunglasses. Can try to edit something in front of the sun (sunglasses in front of camera, tennis ball in front of Sun.
- Shea talks about the method used that dims suns in far off galaxies, allowing us to see the planets orbiting them.
- Transition to Clay sitting in classroom. With a microscope. Can be either a real one or we can start behind his shoulder, as he zooms in his phone camera. Scene will be shot using another phone.
- Clay uses microscope to look at a ball. We can draw colors on some ball we have to portray infared wavelengths or chemical makeup.
- Transition to Kenny on greenscreen. Can be either a space background or NASA launch site. To be shot straight on, using either phone or computer, with corresponding microphone.
- Kenny proceeds to talk about the end of JWST life, and the rise of Roman. Greenscreen would be better if it is a video, so he can turn around to watch it launch. As rocket launches, video comes to an end.
