Metis Role

- Throughout the Metis tribe, there were lots of different roles assigned to different members of the tribe. The main hunting animal was the buffalo and when it was caught by a Metis soldier there was a number of things they could do to it.
- While hunting the bison, the Metis men will use a bow and arrows to shoot the bison. Once the bison are back to the main village, the women would skin te bison and cut the meet. They used every part of the bison and none went to waste.
