Encouraging Parents to Share Their Voices

I also found the impact that Gina has on the communities and people in her life inspiring. She is the reason why multiple couples have come together, she is a member of many groups, and she has helped develop new school programs such as the Peer Buddy program. This shows that everyone can contribute to society and add value to the people around them and the communities they are a part of.

I found it inspiring how Gina was able to reach so many milestones despite her disabilities. As a baby she was able to crawl, as a child she was able to grasp items, and she was also able to form strong connections with her family members despite being nonverbal. This shows the limitless potential that everyone has and why we should not be so quick to assume what people are capable of.
