Villager: Please help our village! You are the only one who can!
There's so much pressure and so many people counting on me
Kratos: I promise you will not fail the villagers. You arefully capable of slaying. You just have to believe you can do it.
Ember the Dragon Slayer from the kingdom ofCastlewood, gets called to the village to save people from the dragon.
Hades: I can help you fight your dragons, but I need to get a few things. Follow me.
Ember: I don't know. I guess I could use the help.
I'm skeptical
Although Ember is known for being bold, caring, and driven, she doubts that she can take on the mostdangerous dragon alone.
Ember: I know I've defeated dragons, but never anyone as powerful as Hades!
Hades: You foolish girl! You'll fail without me.
Kratos comes to help her and remind her that she’s capable. He believes in her and motivates her tocontinue with her mission.
Ares: Go now! You must return to your land and slay dragons! I have faith in your capability.
On the way to the village, Hades offers to help, too. She initially trusts him because he is skilled withdeception and the use of fire. He promises to mentor her, but tricks Ember and brings her to hell.
Hades is very convincing and Ember can't believe she was naive enough to fall for such a ruse.
Ares, the god of War, becomes furious with Hades, saves Ember, and reminds her of her strengths.
She narrowly escapes Hell, and emerges from theUnderworld with newfound clarity in the abilitydistinguishing true allies from manipulators aiming todeceive her.
Ember faces her fears head on and slays the dragon. Her confidence is now restored since she hasovercome this great challenge.
It was a hard fought battle and an important lifelesson learned. The villagers' cheers satisfy her need to do good for others.
