- Hi, my name is Earth Girl I am present day Earth.
- This is Pangaea, all the continents together.
- 28 million years ago I was Pangaea.
- The core generates heat.
- The heat caused the plates to move and the continents to separate.
- If there were no plate tectonics the world would be very different.
- Hey, I am Mountain Man.
- Mountain form when to plates collide
- Without plate tectonics, there would be no mountains
- There also would not be rainforests, lakes, rivers, or volcano.
- Mountain man is right
- Grrr. . . Call me lava lady. I form the same way mountain man does.
- But the differences is when my rock kids in the mantle annoy me I explode

- Our world would not be the same without plate tectonics.
