- Your not meant to be on break yet! What's wrong?
- A patient has been admitted to Perth Children's Hospital, with a lung failure. There are not enough lungs in the hospital so they are put on a waiting list. Without this lung the patient could most likely die.
- I have provided a list of foods that you won't be able to eat anymore due to the risk that you could damage your liver even more
- Another person is added to the nations organ donor waiting list every 10 minutes. Sadly 8,000 Australians a year die while waiting for an organ donor. I believe that a job that will be needed a lot in the future would be an organ creator.
- I believe this because, as air quality gets worse more lungs will be needed for transplants and of course as smoking and vaping become more common this will be a big problem. Studies have shown that every 1 in 10 people under the age of 18 vape, this is an increasing problem as the more people vape the more lungs that hospitals will need for transplant. This isn't only about lungs other organs like kidneys and livers will be needed more in the future as well.
- Other organs like livers will increase in demand in the future to. As the average country weight gets heavier rates of liver disease have gone up. Extra weight raises your odds of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, which in worst cases can cause you to loose your liver.
