- Today's Lesson with Ms. O and a Special Guest Bill of Rights 1st & 5th Amendments

- Ms. O said, ''Today we are going to learn about the 1st and the 5th Amendments of the Bill of Rights with someone that you may know, this person plays basketball and he is going to teach you today.''
- FREEDOM OF SPEECH

- One of the kids stated, "This is going to be a great day.'' The kids all tried to think who it will be and when is this person coming.
- ELECTION PIN
- Ms. O said, ''Hey everyone, I would like to introduce you to Lebron James.'' Lebron James said, ''Guys, I'm going to teach you about the 1st and 5th amendments, but I'm going to teach you how they relate to basketball and the NBA.''
- I CAN'T BREATHE
- ''Lebron please teach us as you are the best NBA player. We would like to learn more about the 1st and 5th Amendments,'' all the kids said.
- HERE COMES THE JUDGE
- ''The 1st Amendment citizens have the right to freedom of religion, speech, press, assembly, and have the right to complain to and about the government and try to change it. I had the freedom to make a political statement with the pin I wore on the cover of Sports Illustrated,'' Lebron said.
- Since the 2016 presidential election, people have wore safety pins to show support for the safety of women, immigrants, and others who feel threatened by the Republican Party.
- ''Back in 2014, Kyrie and I deiced to show support for a family that lost their loved one in police custody for trying to sell untaxed cigarettes by wearing ''I CAN'T BREATHE'' t-shirts before the game.''
- "The 5th Amendment citizens can not be put in jail or punished in any way unless a court has made a decision. This comes into play when one of my fellow NBA players get arrested or goes to jail for something they had done off the court."
