  • Sigmund Freud is a psychoanalytic psychologist who has 5 psychosexual stages. These 5 stages are based around Freuds theory that we as humans only do things for sex and power .The oral stage is when mouth biting and chewing in babies occurs. When I'm in anxious and stressful situations I tend to bite my cheek and bite my nails. This could be explained by when I was in this stage as a baby I did this to relax and continue to do it.

  • Ugh it's okay sweetie thank you for taking responsibility, just be careful next time. 
  • Alfred Adler theorized that birth order affected the personality of a person. Being an only child Alfred states that I should be attention seeking, imaginative and the leader of a group. In situations where I had to play alone I had a very creative imagination and could play by myself for hours.

  • Karen Horney furthers her knowledge into the psychology of women. She stated that women are able to contribute to their own psychological problems and can actually act as their own therapist. Whenever I'm going through a hard time I try to do things that help my physical and mental health. I like to clean my room, go to the gym or do a face mask.
  • How Bandura Sees Me

  • Carl Rogers said that people are good unless their environment impacts them. There are 3 things that enable people to grow according to Rogers. This includes being genuine and having acceptance and empathy. Rogers would explain me as being an overall good person and being able to grow because I have all these qualities.

  • Eysencks big debate in psychology is extraversion vs introversion and neuroticism vs stability. Eysenck would see me as being an extrovert and having a stable lifestyle. These were 2 of the dimensions of personality that Eysenck focused on that mainly made up a person.
  • Bandura explains how people imitate the behaviors of other people. He also says how behavior is learned through observation, imitation, and modeling. Bandura would see me learning through these things because my behavior has stemmed from learning and observing behaviors in my parents and other authority figures.
  • hmm I think I wanna have a job exactly like my mom when I grow up.
