- Exposition: Lennie and George are running/moving to another city because of the events that happened with the girl on the past city foreshadowing that has is that maybe the save event can happen again
- Exposition: George tells Lennie about how will be when they have their own ranch with a cow a pig a couple of chickens and rabbits that Lennie will tend the rabbits. George tells Lennie that if he got in trouble he needs to come here and wait until George comes to him foreshadow: if George tells Lennie this it can mean that will happened again
- Rise action: The guys decided that Candy's dog need to be kill because he is old and suffering ,Candy don't want to kill his dog so one of the guys bring the dog outdoor and kill the dog Candy , Candy cry and decide to talk with Lennie and George to include himself in the american dream of them The irony is that the dog symbolizes Candy who is old and suffering too
- Climax: Curley's wife talks to Lennie about her history and how she feels alone and asks if he wants to touch her hair then she ask him to stop and start to screen Lennie get mad and ask her to not screen Lennie end up suffocanting her
- Falling Action: Lennie knows he did a bad thing he runs to the local that George told him and wait for George Lennie starts to hallucinate .In the farm Candy and George found Curley's wife and decide what they will do George get with the guys and pretend that was the first time he saw her the guys decide they will go kill Lennie George needs to join them so he could get to Lennie first
- Resolution: George gets were Lennie is first and Lennie complain why George is not saying hell to him so George ask Lennie to look to the lake and don't look back then he starts to tell about the little farm that they will have with rabbits cows a pig and chickens then George kill Lennie , George knows he had to do it because if not the other guys wold and they didn't not have the rightto do it but before George do it he made Lennie think about his "paradise" and relax
