- That may be true but we have to see if it will actually work. If you take it I have seen articles that say it will increase your quality of life, increase your lung function, have less hospitalizations, and will overall make everything easier for you.
- I'm not sure how I feel about some of the side effects I could experience. First off I could experience an adverse reaction to the antibiotics, it could damage my lungs, and affect me psychologically.

- Alright, I see your point. If the medication is effective it will make things a lot easier and manageable for me.
- The man is trying to convince the woman to take the long term medication. She is worried about things such as antibiotic resistance her quality of life going down by taking a lot of pills and questions the effect of the pills. The man convinces her that the medication will be effective if she takes it as prescribed and there is no evidence showing that she will develop a resistince to the medication if she is taking it correctly. She is still hesitant by saying that the medication could harm her lungs and could affect her psychologically. He responds by saying that there is evidence that shows that the medication is effective and will help with her lung function and decrease her chances of hospitalization. That convinces her in the end.
