- Whoa.
- Were almost there
- Maya, Cat, and their family are moving in a new house partly for their dads work but the real reason is because Maya has Cystic Fibrosis, which is something she was born with. Cat is the older sister of Maya. They came from a very long car ride and arrived at their new house. When they see the house, Maya likes it but Cat does not like it that much at first.
- OH MY GOSH!
- Maya needs her breathing treatment but it blew a fuse and made the power go out so Cat and Maya went on a hike around the neighborhood. They were stopped by the beautiful view of the water. They followed the trail and it led to an old arcade where they met a boy named Carlos that is Cats age. He told them about the ghost tour and Cat was freaked out and wanted to get out of there but Maya really wanted a ghost tour.
- Later that night their parents said that the neighbors invited us to have dinner with them. They went to their house and when they rang the doorbell Maya and Cat realized that the neighbors son was the ghost tour boy Carlos. They ate dinner there and they talked about Dia De Los Muertos which is the day of the dead and about the ghost. Maya really wanted to go on the ghost tour so they convinced Cat.
- So in the morning Cat and Maya and Carlos went on the ghost tour. It was a long and spooky hike, and finally Carlos said almost there. The weather is perfect ghost weather said Carlos. Then Cat could not find them and they went ahead. She saw one ghost and then saw a ton surrounding Maya and Carlos. They were friendly though. Suddenly Maya fell to the ground and she needed her breathing treatment. So they called 911 and she went to the hospital.
- Days later Maya was better but still was not herself, she had to carry around a breathing tube and could not do many things. It was the Day of the Dead and Maya could not go trick or treating and Cat went with her friends. Maya was really sad she could not go. While she was trick or treating she saw a ghost. Then she went home to be with Maya and Maya said go have fun so Cat went to celebrate and she saw so many skeletons and so many people, it was amazing. This is when she started to like this town.
- After the party and meeting all of those skeletons she went home. She saw that Maya ate all of her candies. Cat and Maya were wondering where their grandmother was and why she did not visit them. Seconds later, the black cat appeared again and then they smelled something really good. They followed the smell and there was a table full of food. They let the cat in and let it stay. They woke up the parents and they all had a feast from the grandmother!
