- I am Chief Joseph. I am the leader of The Nez Perce. We live in Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. We attacked several white settlers and we got our own reservation in 1877.
- Hello I am a Nomad also known as a Nomadic. I regularly move to place to place without having a fixed habitation
- Hello I am Sitting Bull on the left and I am Crazy horse on the right. We are both Sioux leaders. We attacked on June 25, 1876. We won though.
- The Battle of Little Big Horn was on June 25, 1876 when General Custer decided to attack the black hills. He did this because the US Government wanted to buy them.
- Hello I am George Armstrong Custer I am a Civil War Veteran. The US Government asked me to be a general for the Seventh Cavalry.
- Hello my name is Geronimo. I am the leader of the Apache. We lead raids against against settlers and the US army in Arizona. Then I ended up surrendering to the US Army.
- The Dawes Act of 1887 was an act that proposed to break up reservations to end indian identification. Each Native American would be given a plot of land to encourage farming. Native American children were sent to a boarding school.
- No one knows how the fighting began. Wounded Knee marked the end of armed conflict between the Americans and the Indians. 300 Lakota were killed.
- Don't forget about The Ghost Long Drive Dance. It was a ritual performed by the Sioux to regain their former greatness and way of life. Officials became alarmed about the dance and decided to ban the dance.
- Reservation is an area of land that is managed by Native Americans. For example, The US Government ordered the Nez Perce to the reservation in Idaho, Oregon and Washington.
