- His birthday
- 13 years later
- a crisp spring day may just be a pretty day for some. But for today it is a celebration of new life.
- some say he grew up to fast
- March 31, 1927 Cesar Chavez was born .
- A man of honor
- thank you ma'am i won't disappoint.
- Cesar is now in 8th grade and just want to work full time on the farm his dad owns . he becomes fed up with school and feels it isn't needed so he drops out in the middle of 8th grade.
- after the fight
- preservation of one's own culture does not require contempt or disrespect for other cultures.
- Cesar begins working on the farm full time putting in his long hours and hard-work and at a young age that is all he knows.
- In 1946 Mr. Chavez joined the navy

- after his time in service Mr. Chavez found himself becoming more and more aware that civil rights were not really encouraged around him and his other Mexican-american people. so he became the most well known civil rights activists of his time.
