Storyboard Text

  • They are playing a game that is more about sexuality. It is a digital game to raise awareness. Games for Change is to build social impact games.
  • Half the Sky Movement: The Game is a Facebook game that is more about social life like :poverty, domestic violences, sex trafficking and many more.
  • Teachers are not taking up the games for their lessons and some are adapting it to their curriculum. They even have games like Who Am I, which a race awareness game.
  • 3 categories: schools with financial resources, districts made up with shakier budgets, and schools with high free- and reduced-lunch populations
  • Bring your own device is where the student bring in any type of device for learning aid. Teachers are worried about some students bringing in better devices than others for BYOD. But this is where it will be more efficient to integrated technology in the class.
  • Games are a way to get students into a creative space at 21st Century. Having Education-based games for students. Right now, we are figuring out how students learn with games and what games will teach students. National Educational Technology Plans does cover some trends for education game. We do have game developers meet with teachers to talk about making games educational for students to play.
