- Hooray! Have a nice day everyone!
- Today we will be taking a field trip to the ocean and I hope you will learn something
- Look closer!
- Take a good look around. Observe the place!
- All it is, is water
- Do you see all of the trash in the water and on land? And also look at the animals, they have to live with all of that trash in their home and some are dying because of it.
- What we see is so terrible! What can I do to help?
- Yes, what we are going to do with this problem?
- Reduce the amount of plastic you use by ditching plastic bottles and buy one you can refill, you can also ask for no straw at a restaurant and bring your own. You can also use your own containers to put leftover food in rather than plastic baggies. When you do use something that is plastic, reuse it. For example i buy a large yogurt container and rather than throwing it away. I use it to store small items in. To help with recycling, you can take it to your local trash bins and put them in the recycling bin. Another one is sustainable use. You can make things out of other things like cardboard rather than plastic.
- Well you can start by remembering these three words, reduce, reuse and recycle.
- Yes it was! From now on I will no longer use plastic, I will reuse things that I buy, and I will recycle!
