Too Hot for Basketball

Jeez, it's so hot out!
Yeah dude. It's obviously climate change.
What's climate change?
Climate change effects temperature, weather patterns, and our atmosphere.
That sounds awful. Why is this happening?
Believe it or not, it's because of humans!
Why?
Unfortunately, we burn fossil fuels such as coal, oil and gas. This releases carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.
Interesting. And this just makes the Earth hotter?
No, climate change does a lot more than that.
Like what?
Well, one big example is the effect climate change has on ecosystems.
Wait a second. What is an ecosystem?
An ecosystem is an area where a group of plants or animals interact!
I see. What can we do to stop climate change?
Great question! There is a lot that we can do before it's too late.
The most important thing is that we acknowledge the problem, and that we try hard to find solutions to fix it.
We can minimize our energy usage, use more public transportation, recycle, waste less, and more!
Awesome! I'll definitely try some of those.
