- BY see Egypt approaching and they get scared but then Moshe reassures them that God will fight for them
- Moshe stretches his hand over the sea to signal that God should split it
- וַֽיהֹוָ֡ה הֹלֵ֩ לִפְנֵיהֶ֨ם יוֹמָ֜ם בְּעַמּ֤וּד עָנָן֙לַנְחֹתָ֣ם הַדֶּ֔רֶ
- God told Moshe to stretch his hand over the sea and than all of the water will return over Egypts chariots and horseman
- וּפַרְעֹ֖ה הִקְרִ֑יבוַיִּשְׂאוּ֩ בְנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֨ל אֶת־עֵינֵיהֶ֜ם וְהִנֵּ֥ה מִצְרַ֣יִם ׀ נֹסֵ֣עַ אַחֲרֵיהֶ֗ם וַיִּֽירְאוּ֙ מְאֹ֔דוַיִּצְעֲק֥וּ בְנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל אֶל־ה'׃

- וַיֹּ֤אמֶר יְהֹוָה֙ אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֔ה נְטֵ֥ה אֶת־יָדְ֖ עַל־הַיָּ֑םוְיָשֻׁ֤בוּ הַמַּ֙יִם֙ עַל־מִצְרַ֔יִם עַל־רִכְבּ֖וֹ וְעַל־פָּרָשָֽׁיו׃
