  • Cyber-bullying Awareness
  • Good day class, today we will talk about...
  • I'm sure you all know what cyber bullying is from last class. Today let's talk about how we can avoid it by following some simple guidelines. Any body have any suggestions of what those guidelines should be?....Class please quiet down, and raise your hands! Billy you may speak.
  • PICK ME-NO PICK ME-Oh I know
  • Before posting anything online I think that you should make sure that you won't regret what you're posting later.
  • When posting something think how you would feel if someone said that to you. Would you say it to their face?
  • Know how to block and report someone on social media. This way they can't contact you anymore.
  • Today the teacher taught us about cyber-bullying; how to avoid and cope with it. It was a fun class and informative class.
  • Ok, class that was a great discussion, but today we are running out of time. So I would like you all to complete homework about how to cope with cyber-bullying. Tomorrow you will present your ideas, then the person with the best ideas will get a prize! Bye see y'all tom.
  • She started off by talking about how we could avoid cyber-bullying. Obviously the class was eager to answer... After a long discussion we finally came to the 3 most important guidelines.
  • 3 Tips is you are getting cyber-bullied 1. If you are getting cyber-bullied don’t respond or retaliate to the comments/posts, it will only make things worse.2. If you are getting cyber-bullied block or report them, they won’t be able to contact you on that site in any way after that.3. Save the evidence and ask an adult to help you with the situation
  • Finally after the long debate the class gathered three of the most important guidelines. Which were, Will I regret posting this online, can it affect my future? How would I feel if someone said the same thing about me, and would I say these thing to their face? And know how to block and report people, this way they can't keep contacting you.
  • Hey class I was very impressed by the assignments you all submitted, but I very happy with one in particular. I can definitely say that you, Simrat, have earned your prize, there is a box of candy on my desk take as many as you would like. And for the rest of this class we will do some D.P.A. and watch a movie
  • We were given homework at the end of the class. It was about how to cope with cyber-bullying and what to do if it ever happened to you. I wonder what the prize could be... whatever it was I was determined to win.
  • I was determined to win, I thought for a long time then it hit me. The three things you should do when you experience cyber-bullying are: don't retaliate or answer any comments, block/report the person bullying you, and save the evidence by a screenshot and tell an adult to help you. Next Day...when I handed in my assignment I got 100%
  • The Day After- I couldn't believe I won the prize. I had the whole box of candy to myself and our teacher even threw us a little party with snacks and a fun movie. In conclusion I learned that cyber-bullying can be hard to deal with but if you take the time and act calmly and quickly there is always a way to bring justice to a victim. Also if you are responsible it is more likely you will never have to go through cyber-bullying.
