The Third one is Shield Volcano. Shield volcanoes are volcanoes shaped like a bowl or shield in the middle with long gentle slopes made by basaltic lava flows. These are formed by the eruption of low-viscosity lava that can flow a great distance from a vent.
The Fourth and last one is Lava Domes. Lava domes are formed when erupting lava is too thick to flow and makes a steep-sided mound as the lava piles up near the volcanic vent. They are built by slow eruptions of highly viscous lava.
Oh sorry I forgot to say that. Inside an active volcano there's a molten rock called magma, magma is what called to them when they're still under the earth surface and lava after it comes out.
Ooohh now I know. Dad, How about what happens during eruptions.
When volcanoes erupt they can spew hot, dangerous gases, ash, lava, and rock that can cause disastrous loss of life and property, especially in heavily populated areas.
Exposure to ash can be harmful. Infants, elderly people, and people with respiratory conditions such as asthma, emphysema, and other chronic lung diseases may have problems if they breathe in volcanic ash.
No problem son. Just always remember to evacuate when a volcano erupts
Wow okay now I know. Volcanoes blew out magma then later called lava, Volcanic ash and gases can harm us if we breathe in them. Thank you Dad for explaining it to me well.
