Growing up I thought my loud, chaotic, constantly changing, busy family was the norm. When I became I younger I saw that my friend's home lives were different than my own, but I chucked it up to having different cultures.
That brings me to now. Just the other day I was asked such a simple question that really opened my eyes.
It wasn't until my 20s that I started seeing people with similar backgrounds have wildly different family dynamics than myself.
My friend, Dominic, and I were playing a simple debate gamed that's when the question way posed. Should the topic of pineapple pizza be banned at the dinner table? Dominic was of the affirmative and I was on the negative.
The topic will start a lively conversation engaging the whole family, that will foster connection and bring everyone closer together.
