- What do you have to Say Ms. Petrocelli
- Most people in our community are decent, hardworking citizens who pursue their own interests legally and without infringing on the rights of others. But here are also monsters in our communities—people who are willing to steal and to kill, people who disregard the rights of others.
- Steve Harmon is in his prison cell, where he is deciding to write a book called Monster. (Prologue) Steve says that he hates prison so much (Tuesday July 7th Notes) and that you pretty much can't get used to it. He says this because you eat, sleep, and go to the bathroom with strangers
- Journel 2:
- You can’t even hardly make it these days. They talking about cutting welfare,cutting Social Security, and anything else that makes life a little easy. Theymight as well bring back slavery times if you ask me.
- *Puffs His Cigar*
- I need to get paid, man. I ain’t got nothing between my butt and the ground but a rag.
- In the book Monster, Steve mentions that there is always someone getting beat up. So in this Scene, there is someone getting beat up because he said one little thing that the other person didn't agree with.
- Journel 2:
- Someone please help me!!!!!!
- Go ahead show us what you have on the table Mr. Williams
- Steve Harmon is in trail because he is accused of committing a felony murder during a robbery that Killed Mr. Nesbitt . In this Scene Sandra Petrocelli, the lawyer is stating her feelings towards Steve and why she feels like he is guilty (pg 21)
- Journel 2:
- Who?
- I bet you’d be a cool superhero. You know who you should be?
- This scene is supposed to be a flashback to when James was complaining about not getting paid, and suggesting to rob a store. (pg 40)
- I hear that
- This Scene is a flashback back to the court room before any proof of what happened the day of the robbery was shown .
- Your honor may I please show the evidence?
- (Steve gives Jerry a brotherly shove.)
- This tile is another flashback. According to the book, the chapter closes with a flashback in which Steve and his younger brother talk about what superhero they would like to be. (Pg 47)
- Batman. Then I could be Robin. .
