- he had warned about the rise of Hitler and the Nazis in Germany. He became British prime minister in 1940 after then-leader Neville Chamberlain resigned. Churchill's refusal to surrender to Nazi Germany inspired the country. Churchill lost power after World War Two ended in 1945.
- Attack on Pearl Harbor
- Blitzkrieg was a significant idea towards the WW2 because it was a new method of battling with other forces. It helped a lot during battles with other armies.

- The Battle of Britain was a military campaign of the Second World War, It was a war between the two air forces. It was a significant Battle because it showed that the military can use airplanes for battle as well.

- The Attack on Pearl Harbor happened on December 7th, 1941. Japanese airplanes made a surprise attack on the US Navy in Pearl Harbor. They destroyed many ships and killed many soldiers. this attack was important because that forced the United States to enter World War II.
