Act 2, scene 3. Macduff and Lennox were taking in a room in the castle. Macbeth enters, and Macduff asks him about the king, then Macduff exits
What happened?

Banquo the king has been murdered!
Banquo enters and ask what's going on, Macduff regrets telling him what happened .

the best thing to do is avoid it entirely. With that in mind, let's get on our horses and get away quickly.
Everyone left except Malcom and Donalbain. They decide to run because they fear their lives and don't feel safe there.
