Honey, I think I am going to try to grow vegetables for our family.
Agriculture started in many different parts of the world in 6000 B.C.E. People started farming because they got forced to farm. People got forced to farm because they couldn't find anymore food. They didn't know that other people were farming. People taught each other techniques for farming.

Hey sis. We should start growing natural foods for ourselves!
Son, I would like to tell you something. I am going to start growing crops for our family.
North America
In 3000 B.C., King's from Assyria were very proud of the plow they invented. They would brag about how the plow was so great. The plow was made because the plains in Babylonia and Assyria were very dry. People needed a plow to keep their soil healthy. The kings that made the new and improved plow built onto other plow designs to make a new and improved version.
