Storyboard Text
- A Crowd gathers in the small village for the annual lottery that takes place every year at the end of June. Heads of the households are asked to grab a slip of paper from the box. Mr.Summers is in charge of this event.
- Expostion
- Conflict arises when Tessie Hutchinson realizes her husband Bill, is the center of the villagers' attention. The slip of the paper he took has something on it. Tessie yells that it isn't fair and that Bill didn't get enough time to chose the paper he wanted.
- Conflict
- The Hutchinson family, Tessie, Bill, Bill Jr, 12 year old Nancy, and Little Davy, are called up to the box. Mr.Summers puts 5 slips of paper in the box.
- Rising Action
- Each member of the Hutchinson family draws a slip of paper from the box everyones blank except for Tessie's.
- Climax
- Tessie begins to scream that it's not fair, it's not right. The villagers begin to pick up stones they'd gathered earlier that day. They gather around Tessie and begin to throw rocks at her.
- Falling Action
- AHHHHHH!! STOOOPPPP!!!
- As Tessie screams, a stone hits the side of her head. Old man Warner the oldest man in the village urges people to continue.
- Resolution
- Keep Going!!
