Rising action: The house catches on fire because of cleaning solvents, it tries with all its might to contain it, but is unable to.
Fire!!
Point of view: Third-person omniscient. Tone: Very depressing.
Climax: The house tries its best to contain the fire, but is ultimately reduced to rubble in a matter of minutes.
Conflict: Machine vs. Nature
Falling action/Resolution: The house is virtually gone, and the only thing that can be heard from it is "Today is August 5th, 2026, Today is....."
Main Characters: The house, the robot mice, and the fire.

Symbolism: Fire = Nature going on without us.House = Technology going on without us.Shadows = While we may destroy ourselves, nature and everything else shall continue on as normal.
Theme: Nature does not care about us, even while we may be gone it will continue on.
