- The shipwreck left Paulo Azevedo stranded on the Marajo island of Amazon.
- Paulo Azevedo, a renowned trader of Salee, was out for slave trading along with a few workmates. Dorsal’s partner forced him on the ship journey this time for slave trading and slave searching in Africa.
- Their ship met with sea storms for five consecutive days before breaking down near this island. Pedro was the only survivor who somehow managed to swim to this part of the Marjo island. He discovered another wrecked ship nearby and got a few supplies for survival. He also got a few blocks of wood from the wrecked ship and build a tent house for himself.
- Paulo and Billy, as he named the goat, spend the days in each other’s company and exploring the island.
- One day while roaming he discovered some footprints on the island and got extremely curious and worried too. During all these days on this deserted island, he started believing that it was his property and didn’t want to share it with anybody.To their utter surprise, they found some cannibals in the other part of the island. They hurried back to their tent.
- The next day Pedro spotted a ship and waved his clothes. finally, after 45 days he met a few humans who were sailing toward Salee, Morocco. He boarded the ship with Billy and his journey onward continues.
