- Ally doesn't like school, she is always getting sent to the principal's office and the work is too hard. When she tries to read or write, the words dance around and her teacher doesn't understand her and mean girls make fun of her.

- Ally gets a new teacher named Mr. Daniel because her old teacher was going to have a baby

- After Mr. Daniels comes and he turns out to be a nice teacher and Ally finds it harder to keep his problems from him.

- Mr. Daniels asks Ally questions about what its like when she reads and tells her that he'd like to have her tested for dyslexia.

- Mr. Daniels finds out that she has dyslexia and he tells her classmates and they understand her. Mr. Daniels helps her with her reading and writing skills and she runs for president and she gets it.

- Ally gains confidence and Mr. Daniels offers to help her brother with reading and writing.
