- They were hiking for hours until they got up to the lookout; it was a lot further up then they thought. The sun was shining as Zoe’s soft, blonde hair beamed into everyone's eyes. “LOOK DOWN THERE!”Zoe yelled. “THERE ARE HORSES!”She yelled again. Her parents almost forgot about her love for horses and how that developed into her love for unicorns. She was so happy at what she had found and demanded they go over to them. The trip back down took half as long as it took to get up; mostly because they had run down and into the car. The car was heated up as their faces turned into sweat and redness. The smell of the car was not so pleasant but Zoe’s dad immediately turned on the air conditioner, rolled down the windows and set off to the horses.
- It took half an hour to get to the horses, and Zoe was so excited. It seemed like a lot of people wanted to see them as well. The parking lot was almost full and it was hard to find a spot. Luckily someone was leaving and they quickly slipped in their place. Zoe im ran over to where the horses were displayed as a moving siren drove past them. Not an alarming siren though, it was a happy siren, playing kids music as everyone’s heads turned to see what it was. An ice cream truck! Zoe’s face brightened as she saw this. Her dad took her over on his shoulders and she got a plain vanilla ice cream as they had run out of strawberries.
- It was a very hot day and Zoe was enjoying the horses so much that she forgot she had her ice cream. She only noticed when it fell onto her hand. Her face dropped when she realised that her ice cream had melted as the truck drove away playing its charming music as it left. It was almost the perfect day if Zoe hadn’t forgotten about her ice cream, but her parents; all hot and sweaty, were happy to go. It was their perfect day!
