- One of the causes of the 1812 war was impressment. Impressment is the act of forcing someone into government services. The British are making the colonists come back to them because they need more help and the colonists were thought of as traitors. Therefore, the British forced the colonists to come fight with them.
- Hello colonist. You are a traitor. You must come with me and fight along with our Navy.
- That is impressment! You cant make me. This is so unfair.
- We are young men from the South and West.
- The Warhawks were young, enthusiastic Americans and politicians from the South and West. They had a significant role in moving America toward the 1812 War because they were very frustrated with the involvement of the British and America so they wanted to call a war with them.
- We're mad because the British keep helping the Native Americans!
- We want to call war on Great Britain!
- We are the Warhawks.
- Thank you for all your supplies and help so we can resist the colonists from taking our land!
- The British are helping the Native Americans with supplies so that they can fight back against the colonists. The colonists heard about this and were upset because the British continued to meddle in their land.
- Whaaaat? Why is the British supplying the Native Americans?
