  • It all started in the summer of 1922 when Nick Carraway moved to New York from the midwest to begin his career selling bonds.Nick will be working in Manhattan but he is renting a small house out on long island in the town of west egg which is next to a huge mansion owned by Gatsby.
  • Confession Room
  • Nick visits Tom Buchanan and Daisy Buchanan his cousin and her husband, from the mid west who live nearby, in East Long Island. During the visit he finds out that Daisy is unhappy in her marriage. He also meets Jordan Baker a famous golfer that was also paying a visit to the Buchanan's.
  • The Unexpected
  • Nick is invited to one of Gatsby's party,his neighbor, in which he spots Jordan and they stick together. Later that night him and Gatsby get to know each other and strike a friendship. They apparently have a lot in common!
  • The End of it All
  • While they are all at dinner Gatsby can't no longer wait and decides to confront Daisy and Tom about their marriage and she confesses that she never liked tom and how she has always been in love with Gatsby. But Tom argues back and when he exposes Gatsby he knows he won and Daisy says she was lying about what she had said. Moments later they leave and Tom demands that Gatsby and Daisy go on the same car home.
  • While driving home with Gatsby, Daisy runs over Myrtle. Moments after Tom, Jordan and nick pass by and see Myrtle on the floor, but no one around. They knew it had to be Gatsby because of what had just happened. But then surprisingly when they got home he insisted on how Daisy was driving the car and that it was Daisy's fault and he was just covering for her.
  • After Myrtle's death her husband, George B. Wilson, which is also the owner of the gas station does his investigation and is told by Tom that Gatsby is the owner of the yellow car that ran over Daisy. George sneaks into Gatsby's mansion and shoots him while he's floating in his pool.
