- Definitely water conservation is a very important topic and I am glad that we mark days like world water day to raise awareness about the water crisis.
- Yes, it is but remeber, given the significance of water in our lives today, we must learn to conserve it.
- The earth has an abundance of water only about 3 % is freshwater. About 1.2% is usable by human and the other 99.7% is in the oceans, soil, icecaps and permafrost.
- In conserving water at home we must always to remember:To take short showers, turn off taps completely and regularly ensure that there are no leaking taps or pipes as every drop counts !
- When brushing your teeth always remember to turn off faucet when not in use.
- In doing laundry, only run the washing machine and dishwasher when you have a full load.
